Our Mission

At Atlas, we only have one goal: to take the weight off your shoulders. Aside from being a clever pun (even if we say so ourselves), this motto forms the basis of our philosophy. All too often, we see tuition devolve as the months go by with progress falling to the wayside as monotony strengthens its grip.

At best, autopilot takes over. The rigidity of lesson plans makes way for apathy in structure, while information dances through one ear and back out the other. Lazily-written homework and poorly-designed worksheets begin to berate you even beyond the confines of the hourly session. Students listen when spoken to, answer when asked and respond when prompted but very rarely are made to truly understand content and retain what must be known. At worst, tuition becomes a chore: the most dreaded, and useless, hour of the week.
As former students, we understand the plight of the bored child sat across from the out-of-touch lecturer. And as we grow, we begin to see how this academic stress (and its failing solutions) affect both student and parent alike. We know that mundane sessions that refuse to produce results only make the world feel heavier. At Atlas, we're here to fix that.

Nobody knows your child better than you. But we want to hear from the student too!
